Blackhorn OS

The desk, on this device. Rooms marked “here, offline” open without the line; rooms marked “needs the line” wait for it — honestly.

Shell settings this browser

Three choices about how the desk looks and moves. They are saved in this browser only — never synced, never sent anywhere — and they apply to the desk and to every window you open.

Theme

System leaves the decision to your device.

Motion

Reduced removes the shell’s optional animation; it never hides information.

Text size

A relative size — your browser zoom still works on top of it.

A room marked “here, offline” means its page is carried on this device by the service worker — the live data inside a room (mailbox, markets, board) still needs the line, and is quiet without it.

The bell this device

The bell is OFF until you turn it on. Nothing is ever sent on its own — the only ring is the one you ask for, and you can switch it off any time.

checking the bell…

What may ring

Both start off. Turning one on is not turning the bell on, and neither can reach this device until the bell above is on. Looking at this list never asks the browser for anything.

No quiet hours set — anything you switch on may ring at any hour.
